Children’s Day at Yowell Meadow Park on Saturday October 21, 2017 from 11 am to 1 pm @ Yowell Meadow Park

WINDMORE WILL PARTICIPATE IN CHILDREN’S DAY AT YOWELL MEADOW PARK. Windmore will be participating in the Children’s Day event that takes place on Saturday October 21, from 11 am to 1 pm at Yowell Meadow Park.  The children/family event is held by the Early Childhood Workgroup of Healthy Culpeper. Windmore will have an information table about the community arts programs it offers. Musical instruments will be available for children to explore playing (including violins), hosted by Windmore Crossroads Youth Orchestra.

“Salt and Pepper” Play on Saturday November 4, 2017 at 7 pm @ Warrenton Middle School

“SALT AND PEPPER” PLAY RETURNS BY POPULAR DEMAND. The production of “Salt and Pepper: will take place on November 4 and 5 in Fauquier County after already playing to full houses in Culpeper, Madison, and Rappahannock. Written by physicist and playwright Robert Benjamin, the play is about aging with grace, courage and humor. It is presented by the Windmore StageWorks Program and directed by local Johncie Flannagan Carlson. “Salt and Pepper” will be presented at Warrenton Middle School located at 244 Waterloo Street, Warrenton. Saturday performance is at 7 pm and Sunday matinee takes place at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door and are available online on the homepage of Windmore’s website: www.windmorefoundation.org. The production is part of the new Windmore “Young at HeART Series” through a PATH Foundation grant.

Crossroads Youth Orchestra Concert “A Classical Christmas” Saturday December 2, 2017 at 7 pm @ Culpeper Baptist Church

Crossroads Youth Orchestra is primarily for ages 10 to 18, and up to age 25. It is the only youth orchestra in Culpeper County. The orchestra is comprised of youth from Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties.  The December holiday concert will take place on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 7 pm in the sanctuary at Culpeper Baptist Church located at 318 S.West Street, Culpeper.

“It’s a Wonderful Life – A Live Radio Play” Saturday December 9, 2017 at 7 pm @ Warrenton Middle School

WINDMORE PRESENTS “IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY”. This beloved American holiday classic comes to life as a full stage production depicting a live 1940s radio broadcast. The play is adapted by Joe Landry from the screenplay by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra, and Jo Swerling. Produced by special arrangement with Playscipts, Inc. and directed by local Jeff Walker. Locally cast from Culpeper and Fauquier counties.
