Spies, murder, love, and other trademarks of Alfred Hitchcock come to life in the style of a 1940’s radio broadcast of the master of suspense’s earlier films. Presenter: Lucie-Gabrielle Jolicoeur-Rousseau

Location: Culpeper Baptist Church, Room 313. Park in the big lot on S. West St. and use the glass door on the side under the portico. Then take the elevator to the third floor.

Wednesday, December 4, 2019 10AM-1PM

Session 1 is a teaching session.
A writer should not tell the reader how to feel, his description should bring about those feelings naturally. In this seminar, we will…

1) look at ways words can spark emotion and how to use the senses to their fullest extent, and

2) how to fit description within the narrative.

Wednesday, December 11, 2019 10AM-1PM

Session 2 will consist of readings of the works and sharing constructive criticism.

Cost:

  • Members: $15 for Windmore members may pay online or with cash/check paid in Session 1. No credit cards accepted.
  • Non-members: $20 for non-members pay online using PayPal or credit/debit card.
