A One Act Play by Brown Cardwell
Performances were October 3 and 4, 2014
543659025213StageWorks was proud to present TIME FILES, an original, one-act play   featuring ten cast members and one skilled director, Brown Cardwell. Ms. Cardwell  worked for many years in theatre and film in the Washington, Baltimore, and New York areas. Her original plays, dance concerts, and cabaret work have appeared in many well-known theater venues. Her background is rich in the creative arts, to include directing, choreography, film and literature. She served on the Boards of the Actors Center of Washington and American Women in Film (AFI-Kennedy Cente and is a past member of both the BMI Lehman Engle Advanced Musical Theat Workshop and the BMI Librettist Workshop in New York City. Guild and union memberships included AFTRA, Screen Actors Guild, Actors Equity Association, the Playwrights’ Forum of Washington, the Dramatist Guild of America, and the Paris Writers’ Workshop.

TIME FILES was developed in the Playwrights Forum of Washington, D.C. and received a staged reading as part of the Sourceworks New Plays Program at the Source Theatre in Washington. A fuller version of the play was later produced in New York City by Love Creek Productions at the 42nd Street Theatre.

Many of the cast members had never experienced the stage before and are thriving with this opportunity to tell their character’s story. The youngest of the group is in his teens and a local high school student while the oldest is in his 70s. Each offer his and her own unique talent and gifts to this production.597849025213
